Hi there,
I haven’t sent a newsletter for a while. In case you forgot, it’s about formable.tools.
Even though not much has happened, the project hasn’t completely stalled. I might send out an issue with a few more details of what else has been going on on my side in the next weeks. For now I’ll write a bit about changes with Formable.
Recently I published a new website. It’s a little less cryptic than the old one. The new sites talk a little more about the product instead of just the vision, listing some specific use-cases and things you can do with Formable that aren’t possible with other apps.
You can check out formable.tools, /vision and /product.
It’s all still a little work in progress though. There’s no need to get anything to perfection at this point.
I think most people don’t understand what the name “Formable” is trying to say, so on the /vision page I added the “Tools able to be formed” tagline. Maybe that could serve as an explainer of what this name is trying to express. On that note, I secured two similar, equally less brandable domains: moldable.tools and malleable.tools. I don’t think those are any better, do you?
The homepage still needs some testimonials. In case you already checked out the product and have something positive to say, feel free to let me know :)
I do think Malleable is slightly better (a more common and thus understood word) than "Formable". But it's probably not a great product name still. 😄
