26 // I Haven’t Given You Updates Lately

The last weeks I haven’t really talked about the product a lot. I don’t think it’s too exciting for you to hear about the small details I’m working on on a weekly basis. Nonetheless I want to share some of that. I write this newsletter mainly as an accountability thing, so here I go.

This week I was hacking on the following:

• List-Ranking Fixes
  When un-/indenting items in the outliner, they’d sometimes jump to the wrong position.

  

• Detail View Improvements
  Changes made there are now immediately reflected in the rest of the app, without a full reload of the app.

  

• Various styling updates

• A performance improvement

• Small fixes
  The most entertaining one: up to this week any user could update any other user’s content through the api.

• Split / Grid View
  The split view certainly isn’t perfect yet, but it’s kind of at a point where it’s useful.

Yes, I admit only having worked on the product, not much on the rest of the business. Guess I should change that. I’ll write an article next week, promise!
